Corporate Client FAQs
Which roles does KUTA cover?+
We focus on mid-to-senior technical and management roles in the chemical, marine/offshore, oil & gas and industrial manufacturing sectors — for example FPSO/marine project managers, structural, process, mechanical, electrical and instrument engineers, refinery plant engineers, QHSE leads, shipyard production managers and EPC project personnel. We also support Contract staffing and local hiring for overseas projects.
How is KUTA different from a generalist agency?+
Three things. First, vertical focus: we work only in the chemical, marine/offshore, oil & gas and industrial sectors, and our consultants have industry backgrounds. Second, dual track: we handle both permanent placement and project-based Contract staffing. Third, on-the-ground delivery: for overseas projects we can arrange visa advice, insurance and payroll services — we do far more than hand over a shortlist of CVs.
What is the standard engagement process?+
The standard process: requirement discussion → engagement agreement → search plan → shortlist and interviews → background checks → offer support → guarantee-period support. After signing, we typically deliver the first candidate reports within a week and schedule interviews to suit your timeline.
How do you charge for your services?+
Search fees are a percentage of the candidate's annual salary (varying by the level of the candidate and the role) and are payable after the candidate successfully joins. Contract staffing is billed at an agreed rate per man-month; the exact quote depends on the discipline, project duration and host country. Please confirm the details with a consultant.
Do you support Contract staffing for overseas projects?+
Yes — this is a core differentiator for KUTA. We sign engagement agreements aligned to the project schedule, mobilise professionals in batches and scale numbers up or down flexibly, backed by on-the-ground support including visa advice, host-country insurance, payroll, and accommodation and travel arrangements (see the Services page: Project Contract Staffing).
How are background checks handled for overseas-project candidates?+
Candidates for overseas projects undergo multi-dimensional vetting: verification of education and employment history, validation of certificates and offshore/overseas safety qualifications, work-performance interviews and any compliance screening required. Every check is carried out with the candidate's prior authorisation, and cross-border steps comply with local data-protection requirements.
Can you handle volume hiring?+
Yes. Volume engineer positions can be delivered on a monthly basis under an RPO model, and bulk manpower for overseas projects can be mobilised in tranches under the Contract model. Volume programmes are assigned a dedicated project manager with a weekly delivery dashboard.
How do you keep the recruitment process confidential?+
KUTA operates strict project confidentiality procedures: role requirements circulate only among authorised consultants, and sensitive positions can be advertised anonymously; candidate information is never provided to any client without consent. We also sign non-disclosure agreements with our clients.

Candidate FAQs
How do I submit my CV to KUTA?+
Upload your CV through the candidate application form on this site (or send it to cv@kuta-hunting.com). A consultant will match suitable opportunities to your background and reach out to you proactively — you will not usually wait long.
Will my CV be shared with clients without my knowledge?+
No. Your CV is used solely for talent matching. A consultant will first discuss and confirm the opportunities you are interested in, and will recommend you to a client only after obtaining your consent. If you no longer wish to be considered, just email us and we will delete your records.
What kinds of opportunities does KUTA offer?+
Two types: permanent roles (mid-to-senior technical and management positions in the chemical, marine/offshore, oil & gas and industrial manufacturing sectors) and Contract roles on overseas projects (in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, with defined durations and overseas-assignment support). If you are open to working abroad or have overseas experience, please make sure to note this on your CV.
Will I be charged after a consultant contacts me?+
No. Our fees are paid by the engaging company, so candidates are never charged. We provide career advice and opportunity matching free of charge to candidates throughout the process.
